The Joy of Exams: Celebrating Every Step of the Journey

Taking an exam at the end of the year is a wonderful milestone for dancers of any age. It provides clear, motivating goals, helps consolidate everything learned over the past months, and offers a tangible way to measure personal progress, build confidence, and celebrate achievement.

We proudly hold our examinations through the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA)—an internationally recognised awarding body that we hold in high respect for its exceptional standards and commitment to dance education.

At our school, all children take an IDTA exam at the end of the year as a natural and exciting part of their developmental journey.

Interestingly, our adult students are also enthusiastically encouraged to take part—and they step up to the challenge eagerly every single year! Proving that passion, growth, and the joy of achievement know no age limit, our adults embrace the opportunity to earn these respected qualifications, even though taking the exam remains completely optional for them.
